Hyperscore provides a range of tools which may be accessed directly in the main Hyperscore window. These are arranged in two horizontal bars at the top and bottom of the main window.

The tools available in the top toolbar are, from left to right:

• The Arrow Tool
• The Pen Tool
• The Droplet Tool
• The Erase Tool
• The Color Palette
• The Tempo Slider
• The Melody Window Tool
• The Percussion Window Tool
• The Sketch Window Tool

The tools available in the bottom toolbar are, from left to right:

• The Delete All Tool
• The Workspace Safes
• The Music Library Button
