To change the length of a note, select the note using either the Arrow Tool or the Droplet Tool then grab the handles which appear and drag the note to the desired length.

While the note is selected you may then drag it around or use the left/right arrow keys to change its pitch and rhythmic position.

Alternatively, with the Droplet Tool pressed, click on a note to select it. While still holding the right mouse button, make the note longer or shorter using the left/right arrow keys.
