Playing Music in Hyperscore
As you have seen, each template contains different types of windows – Melody Windows, Percussion (drum) Windows and Sketch Windows.

You can hear the contents of each window by selecting the window using the Arrow Tool,

and pressing the play button that appears.

The Melody and Percussion Windows contain the ‘bits’ or musical motives that make up your piece. Play each Melody Window and get a feel for the music each one contains.

The Sketch Window contains what the piece sounds like after you put the bits together. When you load a Template, the Sketch Window is partially filled in with some Drum and Bass lines.

Once you have loaded a Template and listened to some of the windows, you are ready to make your ringtone!!

  Tips and Tricks

Playback: You can also use the spacebar on your keyboard to start and stop playback of the selected Melody or Sketch Window.

Navigation: You can Zoom In on any part of the screen by pointing the mouse and pressing the function keys F5 to F8.

You can zoom in and out on the center of the screen using the mouse scroll wheel.

You can also Ctrl+Click to drag the entire workspace around.
