Importing Templates

To import a Template, choose File Menu>Music Library or press the Music Library button at the bottom of the main workspace.

You should see a window that looks like this.

Navigate to Templates and choose the style you want to compose. Select a piece from the list and press play to hear it. When you have selected the template you want, press Load All to import the template including all Melody, Percussion and Sketch Windows.

Tips and Tricks

You can listen to the backbeat or any of the other windows before you import them. Select the Melody, Percussion or Sketch Window you wish to hear in the view window on the right, then press play.

The Melody and Percussion Windows are the smaller windows above and below the Sketch Window.

The Sketch Window containing the backbeat (bass and drums) you can use to compose your piece is the larger window in the middle. Select this window and press play to hear the backbeat.
